i guess nobody can call Lesnar lucky anymore. he completely dominated Mir. and after Anderson Silva GSP became the next boring champ imo. kinda just takes his opponents down and lays ontop of them. i mean i'm a huge BJ Penn fan, but GSP should have finished the fight there. and now he again just layed ontop of Alves and threw a punch here and there.

Lesnar is the most boring fighter in the UFC, he just sit on top and swings. GSP actually has good stand up skill. You can't say he's boring after one fight like that.

come on, GSP did that three times now. i mean he is dominant as hell, but he doesn't do shit. Lesnar is propably the most dominant HW in the UFC right now, and like GSP he takes it to the ground. but unlike GSP Lesnar is pounding his opponent like none other before while GSP just lands a punch here and there so the ref doesn't stand them up.
Well no fight is the same, so it really depends on GSP's opponent. And GSP and many others are martial artists not just fighters, hardly anyone in the UFC just swings and swings liike Lesnar. If brock came up against Fedor, I would think he'd be caught in an armbar in a matter of seconds if he tried that shit.

ok, now i'm confused. Lesnar takes guys down and tkos them with his g'n'p and you hate it. GSP all of the sudden pulls the same trick but just lies there without the punches, and you like that.
oh well.like i said in the other topic, Mir is propably better than Fedor from his back, but Lesnar used the oldest trick against a BJJ ace - don't give him room to work and punch him in the face. if he would get Fedor into the same position he might win. but would he be able to get him into that position ? well, we won't know until they fight i guess.
I don't like Lesnar's style, he just sits on top, grabs their throat and swings. GSP thinks, then executes. I prefer watching a tactician think his way through than brute force prevailing.
Like it or not, he still beat the crap out of Mir. It doesnt mater if its a cheap tactic, he got the the mark in his win column, and thats all that counts. But he shut everyone in that crowd up who said he was 'fake'.
